According to sources in Italy, Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen still wants to leave Napoli this summer, but the Italian giants have reiterated he is not for sale. Il Matino reports that Osimhen's representatives have requested a meeting with Napoli sports director Cristiano Giuntoli to talk about the future of the Nigerian international. Paul Merson formal Arsenal legend name Team to win UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE this season

Paul Merson, a former player for Arsenal, has listed his top five picks for the 2022–23 UEFA Champions League champions.

Recall that Real Madrid defeated Liverpool in the Champions League final in Paris to win the competition the previous year.

The solitary goal of the game was scored by Vinicius Jr., giving the LaLiga winners their 14th Champions League crown.

Merson, however, thinks that Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Barcelona are the top five teams that can defeat Real Madrid and win the Champions League this season.

I just can't comprehend what they [Real Madrid] did last season, he admitted to Sportskeeda. Or did they just happen to be lucky?

They were effectively out of the competition three times in the knockout stages against PSG, Chelsea and Manchester City but managed to defy the odds each time, while they prevailed in the final despite Liverpool playing better football and creating better chances.”

He added, “I have a feeling we’ll see an all-English final this season because I genuinely believe the Premier League is head and shoulders above the rest of the domestic leagues in Europe.

“Unless the draw puts two English sides against one another in one of the knockout rounds, I do think they will face each other in the final.”

Naming his five favourite teams to win the Champions League, Merson added, “Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City.”
