According to sources in Italy, Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen still wants to leave Napoli this summer, but the Italian giants have reiterated he is not for sale. Il Matino reports that Osimhen's representatives have requested a meeting with Napoli sports director Cristiano Giuntoli to talk about the future of the Nigerian international. Manchester United identify player to sign besides De Jong

If Manchester United are unable to secure a deal for Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona this summer, they have already decided who they will sign.

De Jong has been linked to a move to Man United, but the Dutch midfielder is eager to stay at Camp Nou.

Erik ten Hag, the manager of Man United, is frantically trying to sign De Jong, who he coached at Ajax, to Old Trafford during the current transfer window.

The longest-running saga of the summer, the Red Devils' attempt to sign De Jong, has stalled in recent weeks.

However, according to Calciomercato, Lazio midfielder Milinkovic-Savic is being actively considered by Man United as an alternative to De Jong.

The Premier League giants are now planning to move for the 27-year-old Serbian instead.

Milinkovic-Savic was the recipient of a public pursuit by United in 2019 when he was a top target for former executive vice-chairman, Ed Woodward.
