Mahrez Issues a Strong Warning to Chelsea and Liverpool Regarding the Title Contest

Riyad Mahrez, a winger for Manchester City, has issued a warning to Chelsea and Liverpool on the next 2022–23 Premier League season's title race.

Mahrez said that Pep Guardiola's team is formed with a winning mindset and that they want to reclaim the Premier League championship from Liverpool and Chelsea.

The international from Algeria led Man City to the Premier League championship last year with 11 goals and five assists.

Last season, Man City defeated Chelsea and Liverpool to win the English Premier League.

“We really, really want to win again,” the 31-year-old told the Daily Mail.

“When the season starts, we want to go again. That’s a big motivation. We never ever think, ‘Oh, it’s going to be easy this year,’ or we can go a bit easy.

“No, we go 100 per cent from the beginning because we want to win and we are built with this mentality.”
